In contrast with the smooth and reductive style in which I normally work, this bronze sculpture of a Grizzly Bear with his head turned to look quizzically
behind him, is executed in a more impressionistic manner. The natural and loosely-worked clay which I used to sculpt this piece, has been allowed
to flow and express the textural surface of the animal, and at the same time allowed the character of the bear to shine through. An edition of twelve casts plus two artist's copies of the Grizzly Bear bronze sculpture are availaable.
