The Quail is more often heard than seen,as it often hides in fields of crops. It is also a reluctant flyer. This little family of Common Quail is depicted watchfully hidden in the undergrowth. Similar in its form to a partridge but much much smaller, I found it a very appealing subject. An edition of twelve for this bronze sculpture of Quail.
